About Me

I'm a Miami-based photographer but love to travel for the perfect picture!

I like to think I have a very classic style, with a youthful twist.

I think a wedding is the most amazing experience to capture on film

I'm a Nikon user, an Apple lover and Nike Fanatic!

You will always see an issue of GQ, Complex and Vogue Magazine on my coffee table (Yes, Vogue has some of the most amazing photographers ever!)

I run daily, not to stay in shape but to support my eating habit.

L-10 is my nickname, get it... EL-TEN (Elton)

There is beauty in everyone and everything.... my goal is to capture it.

VANESSA + LINWOOD // ENGAGEMENT

Remember the couple I talked about earlier? Well here they are! I had an amazing time during Vanessa and Linwood’s shoot… AMAZING! We laughed, we ran and I even climbed in a tree (don’t ask) but in the end it all worked out as you can tell from their pictures. Did I mention that they are FAMU Alumni like myself? That automatically makes them the coolest couple I’ve shot! Special thanks to my friend Whitney who introduced me to this wonderful pair.

Rebecca Neal - I would like to purchase pictures of Vanessa and Linwood. I want to surpise them with a group of your pictures nicely framed as a keep sake. Can you help me with that? rebeccaneal@verizon.netJune 4, 2010 - 2:12 pm

Dad - I can't believe how the backgrounds match the outfits! I love the hand pose - the background appears to be swishing past while the lovers are unconcerned. Somehow, the black and whites here are special, the best of all the pictures being the shot of Linwood behind Vanessa. Great shoot.April 29, 2009 - 6:21 pm

Lauren - these are fantastic! not just the image quality, but the poses as well. very nice.April 29, 2009 - 8:45 am

alicia.keeffe - I'm currently using an OLD Canon film camera. I love it for the manual settings and playing around with things like shutter speed and mutiple images! Fun stuff! I actually took some good motion pics of Christchan in his studio. I should show them to you sometime.April 29, 2009 - 6:23 am

L10 - Alicia <~~~ It was really fun experimenting with motion and shutter speed. I wish I had the patience for tripod photography. What camera are you using? Thanks again for checking me out!April 28, 2009 - 10:46 pm

eltonanderson - Mike <~~~ Thanks for checking me out man! The "ring of light" you see is actually 1/2 Lightroom and 1/2 the lens. The actual name of the effect is called a Vignette and you can manipulate that very easily in Lightroom and even in Photoshop. I rarely use it because the effect can get kind of cliche if overdone. In certain lighting conditions my 35mm lens (or wider) will naturally make this effect, especially on the D700.April 28, 2009 - 10:41 pm

Janeka - Great work Elton!!!! I see you are staying pretty busy.April 28, 2009 - 9:42 pm

Janise Colston-Watso - The pics are beautiful...nessa and wood congrats again.April 28, 2009 - 7:59 pm

Mike - Good stuff. I noted the shutter speed stuff as well. I also have no need to ask about you climbing a tree; I can see why. lol I particularly like the shot of their hands because of that round gleam of light in the middle. You're gonna have to tell me how you did that. lol I noticed that in another shoot you did. The shot was of a guy lying horizontally on what I guess was a small wall, and he had his head on a skateboard I believe. There was like a half circle bright light that was above his abdomen. It was a sweet ass shot. Do that in Lightroom? Or did you shoot it that way?April 28, 2009 - 7:37 pm

Amanda - Aww the pictures are so amazing!!!April 28, 2009 - 7:28 pm
